The Long Gown Competition of Mutya ng Pilipinas 2014 will take place in Nueva Ecija.
Tonight at the Nueva Ecija Convention Center, the thirty (30) Official Candidates of Mutya ng Pilipinas 2014 will walk down the ramp in their most elegant evening wears and compete in the pageant’s Long Gown Competition.
Some people might ask why the girls need to travel by land to far Palayan City for this pre-pageant pit stop. Well, according to my sources, the Province of Nueva Ecija has pledged to host the all-important finals of Mutya ng Pilipinas for three consecutive years starting 2015. That’s why.
Now judging by the way this year’s batch has been steadily leaving a positive impression among pageant fans and followers alike, it’s looking more and more like the battle for the top spot is getting tighter than a rope knot as the homestretch approaches next week.
Consistency is essential at this juncture. And pulling some unexpected surprises may or may not work anymore considering that the installed favorites are getting their due halos by now.
Let’s see who among them still has aces to pull up their sleeves. ;-)
