And she finally won!
Following the end of glittering pageant night ceremonies at the Solaire Grand Ballroom, one candidate found well-deserved (and highly-anticipated) victory after she was crowned Miss World Philippines 2013 by last year’s Queenie Rehman.
Out of 25 Official Candidates, Megan Lynne Young was adjudged the best of the batch and will now wear the country’s sash in Miss World 2013. She will be in for a whirlwind of activities as her departure date for Jakarta should happen in ten days or so from now. Meanwhile, the ladies who came close to winning were declared Princesses, as follows: 1st, Janicel Lubina; 2nd, Zahra Saldua; 3rd, Bianca Paz; and 4th, Omarie Linn Osuna.
Aside from the five, eight (8) more contestants made it to the semifinals. They are Mercegrace Raquel, Patricia Ejercitado, Zandra Flores, Paula Estenzo, Angelica Lopez, Karla Patricia Alas, Samantha Bernardo and Jennifer Hammond.
