In her application form for Miss Grand Philippines 2014, Rosevemme Marie Calang Fajardo stated her mother’s unfulfilled wish of becoming a beauty queen. As a result, she took it upon herself to give the dream a try. While her initial confidence about winning a national pageant in her first try wasn’t that bright, the succeeding weeks proved that she indeed has the potential to figure out well. Last Saturday night, she went on to claim 1st Runner-Up placement – a small step away from actually taking things all the way. This should up the possibility of trying out another contest in the future after finishing her contract with Miss Grand Philippines. And I believe John dela Vega will eventually groom this Surigao del Sur beauty into a fiercer version – complete with polishings in all areas of competition. Who knows? She could be part of Team JDV in 2016.
