Elena Ibarbia, Miss World Spain 2013 and Miss World 2013 Top 6.
This year, Elena’s successor comes in the person of Lourdes Rodriguez de Guzman who will now be London-bound for Miss World 2014.
Initially, my impression of Lourdes is quite the opposite of Elena who is more of chic and cosmopolitan with a face so wholesome and appealing. This new lady comes off as a 20 year-old vixen who is out to spread a more youthful sensuality in the way she projects her aura – something like a cross between singer Arianna Grande and young indie actress Kat Dennings.
Can she do better than the placement of Elena? Or will she bring back Spain to the background? Methinks she will be a head-turner. But then again, there are already a lot of eye candies going to London this December. Let’s see how she will present herself in the competition. ;-)
