It was a send-off like no other. I have seen quite a number, but never this emotional, true and heartfelt. And no one could be more apt to receive such a tribute than Bb. Pilipinas International 2014 Bianca Guidotti who has certainly become the lady all of her fellow Bb. Pilipinas 2014 Queens have learned to love and treat like a big sister.

Yvethe and Laura were the most tearful in honoring Bianca.
Even before Bianca stepped out on stage, she was already in a constant huddle with the other ladies. She was getting endless words of encouragement from every single one. And among them, it was expected that Bb. Pilipinas Supranational 2014 Yvethe Santiago and 1st Runner-Up Laura Lehmann to be the most tearful because they have shared a lot of ups and downs in pageant training even before they were announced as winners during the finals.

Bianca with her "Titas"
The presence of Bianca’s family members and friends, especially the mother and grandmother, made her tears flow even more. And there was simply no reason to hold back the emotions for them. If you could only see her exactly one year ago – complete with frizzy hair and a laid-back carefree aura – the transformation has been nothing short of amazing.

Bianca's mother (Gela) gave a short speech that made the honoree more emotional.
By the time Q&A with the media came, she was already at her most relaxed. She answered all the questions with a good mix of heart and spunk. When asked about who she considers as her toughest competition in Tokyo, she could only utter “…
a lot!”. She added that she can’t do anything about their being breathtakingly beautiful. But what she can work on is herself and how to continuously level up every step of the way.

Bianca in pageant bloom
With a lot of confidence, Bianca admitted that going for the back-to-back win was “
…never a daunting task, it was something doable“. And with that level of determination burning within, our Queen can only look forward to an 18-day journey in Tokyo filled with positivity. Echoing the advice given by MJ Lastimosa, “
when the time comes that the winners are already being announced, never pray in silence and say “Lord, kahit runner-up lang”…always say that “I will be the winner!”
From your ninang-blogger (that would be me) and all of us here supporting you, enjoy the journey but take the competition seriously when it matters most. In between demanding activities and appearances, show the real beauty in you and for sure, your undeniable essence and presence will come shining through! :-D
