During the visit of the Miss International 2014 contestants at a Traditional Tea House, they were taught how to make sweets to be consumed before drinking tea. And it really sparked interest from most of them, especially the ladies from the predominantly tea-drinking countries who are used to just biting on biscuits or eating scones with their afternoon cups of the steaming hot drink. What beautifully distracted the attention of some – including Miss Philippines Bianca Guidotti – were the serving Japanese ladies wearing the traditional
Kimono dress.
Next week, there will be a special Kimono fashion show where all of them will be garbed in the Japanese traditional garment – from the old styles to the more modern variations of the same.
That should be worth looking forward to! ;-)
