After last night’s post about the possible eruption of a controversy involving two Miss Earth Australia sash-wearers arriving in Manila for the competition, here comes another one that involves the Venezuelan reps. According to rumors, Osmel Sousa has allegedly decided not to send (and effectively dethroned) Miss Venezuela Earth 2013 Stephanie de Zorzi to Manila because of the latter’s decision to concentrate on her blossoming career in modeling. And in her place, it was allegedly added that Miss Venezuela Earth 2014 Maira Alexandra Rodriguez Herrera is now being rushed to represent Venezuela.

I really wouldn’t mind. For as long as one of Osmel’s ladies will arrive in Manila, it’s all good. After all, Maira has been a favorite of mine ever since the pre-pageant of Miss Venezuela 2014.

Really, all of this free indirect publicity news for Miss Earth 2014 is pouring like a bottle of honey with a bottom leak.
