This should further heat up the presence of male competitions in the country
There is a new male pageant out to give Misters of the Philippines a run for their money. And it now carries the name Mr. Republic of the Philippines 2015 or Mr. R.P. 2015 for short. Organized by AA Pro Couture Frontliner Timeless USA/Philippines Inc. The objective is “to promote the positive image of the Filipino Youth from different provinces and communities by displaying their rich and diverse culture, healthy lifestyle and social relevance.” Three (3) titles will be at stake, all for international fielding in different contests around the globe.
First, there is Mr. Worldwide Philippines 2015 who will represent the country in next year’s Mr. Worldwide. And then there is Mr. Model of the World Philippines WCOPA 2015 who will join the country’s 2015 contingent for the World Championship of the Performing Arts in Los Angeles. Lastly, Mr. Runway Model of the World Philippines 2015 will also be going abroad for Runway Model of the World (Male Division). Aside from the representation, all three (3) title holders will receive a cash prize of Five Hundred Thousand Pesos (P500,000.00) each.
If you cannot clearly read the qualifications on the left, I am listing them below:
- At least 5’11″ in height, high school graduate and between 18-29 years old
- Attractive and with great personality
- Excellent body proportion
- With good moral character
- Single or married
- Open to all natural-born Filipinos and those with Filipino ancestry
The first screening will be held on January 31, 2015 from 8am-5pm at Manila Hotel (bring full body photo, headshot, formal attire, swimwear and a valid passport)
Once more, interested applicants should be passport-ready by the time they attend the screening.
Final screening and Coronation will be on February 28, 2015 from 8am-1pm also at Manila Hotel.
Note : The Three winners will have their travel expenses shouldered by the organizers.
