The reps of Zimbabwe, Switzerland and England were voted the friendliest candidates of Miss Earth 2014
Good or bad, there is always something to be said about winning the Miss Friendship award in a beauty contest. Some people would quip that it is easily the cheesiest consolation prize any candidate would receive and also the least to get excited about.
But in a competition like Miss Earth 2014 where three (3) ladies are voted friendliest (owing to the three groups that divided the contestants right from the start), the honor becomes more meaningful. In each group, the members are much less than the total number of 85, thereby, allowing the ‘groupmates’ to bond more closely instead of spreading the votes thinly if all of them will pick just one deserving winner overall.
So this post is just a small way of doffing my hat to the most amicable, most sincere and most warm-hearted. Kudos to you, Sandiswe Bhule of Zimbabwe (for Group 1), Shayade Hug of Switzerland (for Group 2) and Gabriella Gatehouse of England (for Group 3).
Keep on shining through with your positive ways! :-D
