Better than good friends in Miss World 2014

Miss Philippines Valerie Weigmann is building strong friendships among some of the Miss World 2014 candidates. After their transfer to Aloft London Excel, nonstop rehearsals started. And during breaks, our bet would always group herself with close pals Krista Haapalainen of Finland and Agnes Cheba Ade of Equatorial Guinea. The photo grid above was taken during a lull in practices (could Valerie playing with the Hegalong guitar be a hint that she will do a solo spot for Dances of the World?) and the three are almost inseparable. And once everything is done and rest beckons, she would be back in the loving company of her roommate Miss Germany Egzonita Ala whom she considers like a younger sister.

Now back to that Hegalong guitar above. Why would she still bring the instrument to rehearsals if she wouldn’t be an integral part of DOTW? She could’ve simply just brought herself to the practices without it if her part would be that of the ensemble performers in traditional costumes swaying in the background. ;-)
