It’s already a given that when a candidate participates in the Kuala Lumpur edition of Miss Tourism International, she should be ready to give up spending Christmas with loved ones. After all, the coronation night is always scheduled on New Year’s Eve and pre-pageant activities eat up two weeks prior.
In the case of Miss Philippines Glennifer Perido, she has already readied herself for enjoying the 25th of December with her fellow candidates. Anyways, she can look forward to having her family members and friends around during the December 31 finals. She is duty-bound as Mutya ng Pilipinas and the representative of the Philippines. And she is more concentrated on her mission, save for a string of online greetings to everyone.
