Yesterday afternoon, the hotel guests checked-in at Sofitel Philippine Plaza Manila were pleasantly disturbed by the sudden invasion of the Bb. Pilipinas 2015 Official Candidates when they marched towards the poolside area to have an exterior photo op with the media reps and lensmen in attendance. In fact, some of them even went as far as mingling with the press to take a shot of the Binibinis, with one or two even going as far as having selfies with the ones that they really found attractive. And what do you know? They preferred the brown beauties over the fair-skinned mestizas, as expected. Instant hits with the foreigners were Christi McGarry, Janicel Lubina and Teresita Ssen Marquez.
I took the liberty of grouping the ones who registered very well with most everyone. Janicel Lubina was, as one of our readers quipped, like a ‘Darling of the Press’. But it should warm the heart of Alaiza Malinao supporters that the level of interest in this Davaoeña has doubled in number as they find her beauty more to their Miss Universe liking.

But if I had to give an award for “Miss Projection”, Binibini 28 Hannah Ruth Sison wins hands-down. This former 2nd Runner-up has already mastered the art of displaying a winning facial aura. And her various flirty ways of establishing eye contact with the panel of BPCI Officials are a joy to watch.
All in all, I would reiterate that this batch is a truly outstanding one. To say that the finals judges will have a hard time picking their winners would be an understatement.
The beauty battle is so fierce that it will definitely boil down to an explosive Q&A for the truly deserving winners to float on the surface. ;-)
