Sawasdee khap! It’s the day of Mister Global 2015!

Clik here to view. Some people are saying that there are only slim pickings among the candidates of Mister Global 2015. Instead of looking at it from that angle, I chose to think that it would make the task of making predictions easier. Truth be told, my eyes are transfixed on just three (3) of the twenty-one delegates – Diogo Bernardes of Brazil, Jakub Šmiřák of Czech Republic and Joseph Doruelo of the Philippines. And I am trying to be most objective at that.

At any rate, below are my choices for Top 10.

It was relatively easy assembling three of the five spots in the Top 5 from this point hereon. So I just gave the remaining placements to the two guys who are most likely to get them – Yuber Jimenez of Venezuela and Cristobal Alvarez of Chile. It is also possible that host delegate Apiwit Kunadireck will slip into the magic quintet.

The title of Mister Global 2015, I reckon, is between Czech Republic and the Philippines. Brazil has already settled into 3rd place in my final analysis. So it all remains to be seen who will stand out better than the other and take the competition all the way to the top.

Bottomline: My choice for #1 is Mister Philippines Joseph Doruelo with Mister Czech Republic Jakub Šmiřák as 1st Runner-Up. It could also be switched, but I am being quite sentimental here. I know that our bet has done much more than expected and he deserves the win more than anyone else. ;-)
