Is there really a surplus of beauties in Bb. Pilipinas 2015 that we are getting too sidelined by just a handful of favorites and overlooking the presence of some Binibinis who deserve just as much attention?
One might say, “In a leaner year, perhaps..there are those I neglect before who will shine better in a leaner year.” But do we really mean that? I have learned time and again that, given a batch with slim pickings, all I can hear are complaints and all.
Let us shower some attention on Binibinis 16 Marvi Ann de Lima and 6 Toni Alyessa Hipolito. These ladies are both bright and beautiful, down-to-earth and charming even. And I really won’t be surprised if the judges will also take a shine on them.
Marvi and Toni exemplify Filipinas who figuratively wear their heart and mind on their sleeves. They can express themselves well and know where they stand on things that matter to the modern women of today.

And I’m pretty sure they will rise up to the occasion if given the opportunity to shine.
The upcoming days will signal the homestretch of this year’s nationals. And I hope both of them will have just as much chance to prove their worth as Bb. Pilipinas. ;-)
