And the wheel of pageant fortune starts anew.
Alongside the crowning of the Bb. Pilipinas 2015 winners last night, a new chapter in the hunt for more international victories has officially been started. The support for the country’s new representatives of beauty and grace should begin with a simple act of moving on.
It doesn’t help any to keep up with the eternal bashing. One round of negativity is forgivable. A second one is stretching out the fine line running between disappointment and acceptance. Anything beyond should be replaced with the effort to wish them well. Twenty-four hours of online emotional catharsis will wrap up at midnight later.
We have new Queens to support. Their individual transformations will begin the minute everyone decides to give them one important thing to help in their efforts – a chance. A chance to prove their crown-worthiness.
Once more, I congratulate all the winners. I will have your back no matter what. It’s #ForThePhilippines from Day 1. :-)
