Miss USA 2015 is heating up nicely

Significantly encouraged by the victory of Nia Sanchez as Miss USA 2014, there are more Americans of Latina roots who will vie for the Miss USA 2015 title. I have counted at least six (6) so far. And as for those of Asian descent, I can see three (3) for now, including Miss Arizona Maureen Montagne who is half-Filipino.

In the photo grid above, I short-listed ten (10) ladies from among those who already have their pre-arrival photos uploaded on the Miss USA website. And I’m pretty certain that more will join the group as the competition starts shaping up for the finals slated this coming June.

So far, I am liking Natasha Martinez of California, Lizzy Olsen of District of Columbia, Ashleigh Lollie of Florida, Mame Adjei of Maryland, Thatiana Diaz of New York, Molly Ketterling of North Dakota, Anea Garcia of Rhode Island, Kiara Young of Tennessee, Jackie Croft of Vermont and, of course, Maureen Montagne of Arizona.
