During last night’s news on GMA-7’s 24 Oras, it was made known that Ms. Gay Manila 2015 Trixie Maristela will indeed be competing for Miss International Queen 2015 alongside her 2nd Runner-Up Francine Garcia late October to early November in Pattaya, Thailand. And the video above even shows how much supportive her boyfriend Art Sta. Ana is of the endeavor and their relationship as a whole.
But with the welcome news came with a separate unwelcome incident which she experienced at the Valkyrie Super Club last Saturday when she was denied entry to the establishment for not being dressed properly as a man (as indicated in her ID). The not-so-funny thing is that, if her group had a reserved VIP table, then she was told that there will be no problem. In the first place, why the sudden interest in checking out her ID? She does not look like a questionable minor by any stretch of the imagination. Did someone inside tip the people at the security to stop them in their tracks? It wouldn’t be the first time that transgender individuals entered and enjoyed the place without any kind of prevention. Or are they just inviting the bad publicity regardless of the implications? They know fully well that it was just a matter of time before social media gets to feast on the encounter.
As a result, they transferred to Palace Pool Club where there were no hassles at all.
