In any beauty competition, there are candidates so beautiful you’d expect them to perform well enough to secure a spot in the semifinals and not be relegated to the background.
In the ongoing Miss Earth 2013, there are several ladies who can easily make it far if beauty of face is the sole basis of qualifying for the first cut. Take for example the four ladies above. Do you see Catharina Choi of Korea, Priscilla Martins of Brazil, Nicolle Velez of the USA and Natalia Lermanda as hits or misses?
If you ask me, the Brazilian is a lock for the Top 16. The Korean-Brazilian could have been another shoo-in, but her performance so far has been mostly lackluster. As for the other two, I’m middling with their chances.
How about you, dear readers? Who are your hits that could be misses in this year’s batch?
