The new Miss USA crown by DIC

Predicting this year’s winner of Miss USA could be a tricky proposition considering the events these past few weeks. There are those who would say outright that a Latina state rep has the weakest chance of winning as Donald Trump would not want to glorify one of them given all the public backlash he has been getting as a result of attacking Mexican immigrants. And another camp would push for the idea that an Asian-American’s time has come to finally take it all the way. Yet, a third party would also counter with a theory that this is the year where an All-American beauty will reclaim her rightful ownership of the title. Attached to that, the African-Americans will be just as intense that a woman of color is the most deserving victor among the candidates.
Below are three (3) photo grids showing my Top 15, Top 10 and Top 5 in succession.

My Top 5 for Miss USA 2015
The Top 5 was actually arrived at based on my personal judging. I did not assemble the quintet to come up with a token Latina, Asian-American, African-American or All-American and satisfy the cravings of different groups clamoring for their respective bets to win. I simply thought that these five ladies have what it takes to enter the magic circle.
Miss Vermont Jackie Croft is the girl I feel who would follow the trail of last year’s Miss North Carolina Audra Mari who became 1st Runner-Up to Nia Sanchez. So with that placement settled, I would pick one among Miss Alabama Madison Guthrie, Miss Arizona Maureen Montagne and Miss Rhode Island Anea Garcia as potential successor. My hunch is that Miss Maryland Mame Adjei would be either 3rd or 4th Runner-Up. So if I would rank them in order, Alabama-Vermont-Arizona-Rhode Island-Maryland could be the winning combination.
Of course, having that very definitive order of placement is way too risky. But I don’t mind putting my name on the line. After all, that’s where the excitement of predictions comes from. Nobody among us can ever predict what answers will come out of their thinking minds to secure better or lower finishes, so I choose to anticipate that they will do me proud in the end.
Good luck, ladies! :-)
