Hi Ms Charlene! I’m not sure if you remember me but in 2013 we, the Bb Pilipinas winners of that year, had an interview with you in The Buzz. I remember you spoke to me backstage after & said that I should try again because the 1st runner up of your year also joined again & eventually got the Bb Pilipinas Universe title. I followed your advice & joined last year. Unfortunately did not make it to top 7 but then I tried again for the 3rd time this year & I finally won! :D I’d just like to say a big thank you for inspiring me to join again. You were the 1st Bb Pilipinas that I saw on TV as a kid. I remember it so vividly, after you won I tried to walk around the living room & tried to answer Q&A questions thrown by my mom. Anyway thank you so much. You’re my first beauty queen idol & you’re still one of my favorites! After the interview I saw your photo on the halls of ABSCBN, just outside our dressing room. I tried to take a photo of it when one of the staff members of The Buzz said “Bakit yan ang pinipicturan mo? Magpapicture ka nalang sa kanya. Halika sasamahan kita” and I said “OMG pwede ba? Sige po!” After we took this photo I went back to the dressing room and I was tearing up. Ara even saw it 😂 Yun lang po, I’m really a fan. @itsmecharleneg 😄 You are my #SuperPinoy Thank you!! #JRSuperPinoy
Fate really has a way of making dreams come true. Maybe not for all. But it did for Pia. ;-)
