Rick Palencia of Tacloban is getting a lion’s share of awards
But more on the Pre-Pageant now. The thirty (30) candidates competed in three (3) segments, namely Ethnic Costume, Swimwear and Formal Wear. Their scores here will be added to the Closed Door Interviews conducted last Wednesday. A Top 15 will be announced on Finals Night, although four of these spots have already been earmarked for four (4) fast-track winners in Fitness (Crossfit), Talent, Beach Wear and Multimedia Voting (identities to be revealed on Sunday as well).
In my opinion, the Misters who did well during last night’s Prelims, aside from Palencia, are Reniel Villareal, Karan Singhdole, Earlmond Lee, Carlos Ching, Don Mcgyver Cochico, AR dela Serna, Nicholo Zacarias, Jules Chan, Willan Pagayon, Siegfried Bauer, Arcel Yambing and Kevin Fichera
In summary, the other winners of the Sponsors’ Awards are AR dela Serna for Mister Esplanade, Reniel Villareal for Mister UniSilver Time, Carlos Ching for Mister Urban Smiles and Kevin Fichera for Mister Yasubei. Meanwhile, the other four high-scorers in Formal Wear are Reniel Villareal, JM dela Cruz, Jules Chan and Kevin Fichera.
The Misters are now checked-in at Remington Hotel beside Resorts World Manila. Non-stop rehearsals will follow plus a couple of sponsor visits. And on Sunday, all roads will lead to the Newport Performing Arts Theatre for the grand culmination.
