Laguna’s Best Representatives

During the Ginoo at Binibining Laguna 2015 finals last Sunday night, the outgoing winners were especially memorable because they have individually pursued their provincial pageant victories to the national level and with marked measures of success. Binibining Laguna 2014 Leren Mae Bautista joined and won Mutya ng Pilipinas Asia Pacific International 2015, while Ginoong Laguna 2014 J.E. (John Edgar) Adajar signed up for Misters 2015 The Pageant, became an Official Candidate and finished in the Top 15 during the finals last September 13.

Leren and J.E. are relatively tough acts to follow. And the newly-proclaimed winners – Justine Mae San Jose and Justin Aninias – may have to deal with the expected pressure on their shoulders. Not that they need to go higher in their next competitions right away, but their predecessors have somehow established a benchmark that make for big challenges they should seriously consider in 2016.

Will the two successors bite? Or will they just let the 2014 winners enjoy their achievements? We shall see next year. ;-)
