Rolene Strauss crowns Mireia Lalaguna of Spain as Miss World 2015
Mireia Lalaguna Royo of Spain was crowned Miss World 2015 at the Beauty Crown Theater in Sanya, China. She is the first Spanish lass to win the blue crown and is now the successor of Rolene Strauss.
Sofia Nikitchuk of Russia placed 1st Runner-Up and Maria Harfanti of Indonesia was named 2nd Runner-Up. Synetta Myrie of Jamaica and Valerie Abou Chacra of Lebanon completed the Top 5.
As for Miss Philippines Hillarie Parungao, she made it to Top 10 and was named winner of the Multimedia Challenge. Not bad. To place that high in a field of 114 is no mean feat. She deserves a good pat on the back.
