Half-Brit Stephanie Taylor: how Pinay can she get?
Now comes Stephanie Taylor, Miss Philippines UK 2009.
I’m not sure if she has resided long enough in the Philippines to merit an application form for Bb. Pilipinas 2014, but the buzz says that she is interested in submitting hers. My qualm is that she may be a wee bit too bloody British for our own preferences. Not that there is something extremely amiss with that, but our taste in Filipina representatives for fielding abroad has evolved in the past few years. By now, we are more embracing of homegrown beauties – be their lineage 100% Filipina or mixed-race.
At any rate, if this Brit-Fil beauty – aged 23 by now – can prove herself qualified, then by all means, drop by Gateway on or before January 15.
