We now have both the Universe and Grandma Universal in our hands, Philippines!
Now the Philippines can really claim that it has both Miss Universe and Ms. Grandma Universe titles in the bag.
Last night in Sofia, Bulgaria, our very own Mrs. Philippines Babylyn Newfield was crowned Ms. Grandma Universal 2016 (or Grandma Universal) in a lavish ball-themed competition among beautiful grandmothers from different parts of the world. She flew to Sofia, Bulgaria brimming with pride, honor and confidence to follow the trail started by Miss Universe 2015 Pia Alonzo Wurtzbach last December. She successfully completed the mission and will come home a shining victor.
By the time she returns to Manila, we will have two ladies of the Universe in our shores. What a pleasant prelude to the Grand Homecoming of Queen P.
