Yesterday was particularly special for the Binibinis of Bb. Pilipinas 2016 as they performed charity work at the Sta. Ana Hospital for Operation Smile Philippines. Aside from being cool and comfy wearing sneakers or rubber shoes, they were also at home mingling with the patients of the medical institution. After all, doing this type of activity allows them to really let their hair down and get more interactive with everyone – especially the children and babies confined.
It makes me miss the Fiesta Carnival Day of yesteryears when the Official Candidates would meet up with kids from the orphanage, while spending a couple of hours enjoying the rides and feasting on hotdogs, cotton candies and the like. Sigh.
