Binibini 19 Maria Lina Prongoso
Your Binibini 19 Maria Lina Prongoso, one of the tallest in this year’s line-up at 5’10”, is doing Iriga City proud with her participation in the nationals. She was once a Miss Bicolandia 2nd Runner-Up who is now eyeing to capture one of the crowns at stake. And at the rate she is performing, people are taking notice of her proud and statuesque stance that can easily make her stand out in group activities. What does she have to say about her stint – more than halfway through – in Bb. Pilipinas 2016?
To be one of the Binibining Pilipinas candidate is a precious journey experience, It’s like I am one of the precious gems in the Universe. To be with the candidates and BPCI organization during training rehearsals, photoshoots, sponsor visits and charity day is truly overwhelming. With our day-to-day activities, I learned to be more determined, optimistic and compassionate and to always cherish the laughter and stories we usually share among other Binibinis. At the end of the day Im always looking forward to what lies ahead of us.

What does Easter Sunday mean to you as an individual?
Easter Sunday is a time to rejoice the love of God, to renew our hope and to rekindle our Faith. It’s the hope that this season enfolds everyone to fill the soul with a new start of life Thus, let us continue to cultivate and share the blessings of love, hope and faith.
Having been part of the regional beauty pageants in the past what are the advantages that these experiences give you as a Binibini in all your public appearances and pre-pageant activities?
Joining regional beauty pageants prepared me in my journey towrads Binibining Pilipinas. These previous stints built up my attitude to exude confidence charm and poise and be able to share my experiences.
If there are three good things you could wish for three other binibinis close to you what would this wishes be and why?
1. To Win- the three major titles and to represent the Philippines with Great Pride
2. For Good health- to not just impress but inspire, motivate and empower women and sustain their advocacies.
3. And to be timeless- to remain beautiful and worth admiring.
Binibini 19 is hoping that she is one of the potential Bb. Pilipinas titleholders BPCI is looking for. She has the commitment to perform and deliver. And she is willing to set aside in favor of the chance to bring pride to the country in international competitions.
