Some people are whispering that, with the extra-tough line-up of ladies filing their application forms for Bb. Pilipinas 2014, the other strong competitors should have turned their gaze to Miss World Philippines instead of inching their way through a crowded field at Araneta. One of them is Yvethe Marie A. Santiago who was presented as one of Aces & Queens’ top-tiered hopefuls.
Personally, I wouldn’t mind seeing her taking part in either. Of course, the prestige of Binibini is still hard to pass up on. And while MWP has become much more beckoning because of Megan Young’s victory last year, it has become a good alternative or an automatic point of leap-frogging to should a bid for the former will not result in a win.
