Not that she has been ignored by most so far, but this former Mutya ng Pilipinas runner-up contented herself with being one of the ‘safer’ candidates in the competition – short-listed by some, noticed by others and taken attention from by those who are diligently eyeing their personal bets.
But knowing how important last Wednesday’s pre-pageant event was, Emma started wowing the crowds who could only stare longer than usual at her presentation and whispering at the ear of a seatmate something like “…this girl is good, ha? How did we miss her before?“
What are the chances of this 19 year-old Kapampangan snatching one of the crowns away from the highly-regarded favorites? Can she follow through all the way to the finals and score more than one turkey* when everyone’s not looking? 
* In the game of bowling, a turkey means making three (3) strikes in a row.
