Will MJ Lastimosa move on to become our country's 3rd Miss Universe winner?
Will Kris Tiffany Janson achieve what no other Filipina has done before in Miss Intercontinental 2014?
Compared to back-to-backs, aiming for a 3rd non-consecutive victory and a first-ever win do not seem to be as daunting. And in particular, Miss Universe Philippines 2014 Mary Jean “MJ” Lastimosa is thirsting more than ever to gift the Philippines with a Diamond Nexus Lab crown considering that the last time another Filipina topped the annual Miss Universe competition happened way back in 1973 when most of you, dear readers, were still unborn and looking at the the late 60s and early 70s as totally ancient.
And as for Bb. Pilipinas Intercontinental 2014 Kris Tiffany Janson, she could set history as the first Filipina winner of Miss Intercontinental, on top of having been installed as the first Binibini entry of the country in the Europe-based beauty contest. Hers is a mission filled with many achievable firsts. And to fulfill the end result in one big swoop would make her reign a most interesting one for all of us here.
I need not survey everyone just to ask if you would choose a 3rd Miss Universe title over a 1st Miss Intercontinental sash. The preference would be obvious, even if some would voice out their wish to get both at all costs. As always, I would end this post by stating that if the victories are fated to happen, then nothing would prevent their occurence. ;-)
