Bring it on. I mean the birth of new beauty pageants around the planet.
This time, the Lebanon-based Miss World Peace & Humanity 2014 has been incepted and brought to life. In a way, it parallels the vision of Miss Grand International in that peace is the objective. And this logically translates to stopping the war for humanity- what the latter is focusing on. The only difference between the two is the additional premium given on human dignity and gender equality while promoting peace initiatives. At the end of the day, it’s all a play of words. But with US$50,000 in cash prize attached to it.
So far, there are already nine (9) confirmed contestants and more delegates are expected to sign up on or before the deadline (which has been extended from the original July 1).
Let’s see how this new pageant endeavor will spread out in the weeks to come.
In the meantime, you can check out their Facebook page to get more updates about the competition. ;-)
