It is always more exciting to size up the chances of beauty contestants when nearing the homestretch. In the ongoing Miss World Philippines 2013, four beauties are proving to be strong favorites to win come Sunday night. While surprises may still be in the offing, there’s no denying that Megan Young, Janicel Lubina, Patricia Ejercitado and Bianca Paz are fighting tooth and nail for the crowd’s attention, and presumably, the good graces of the organizers (Ms. Cory Quirino included).
In the recently-concluded Charity Gala Night, they are the ones who made audience members go ooh and aah whenever one of them would glide to centerstage. And among the non-pageant fanatics in my table alone, three of them (Megan, Patricia and Janicel) are the ones getting solid thumbs up. And I’m not surprised at all.
