Miss South Africa 2014 Rolene Strauss has two of the most demanding responsibilities ever for a national beauty queen. As if it’s not enough that she will take part in chilly London’s Miss World 2014, she will need to quickly move on to Doral Miami just a couple of weeks after to enjoy the sunnier climes of Florida for Miss Universe 2014. Of course, if she ends up winning the first, her immediate runner-up will show up in the other.
But where do we want the beautiful Rolene to figure out well or otherwise? Against Valerie Weigmann or MJ Lastimosa? She will definitely be facing both of our bets. And if that does happen, then it could only mean that the Miss World title has already slipped past her grasp. And MJ will be the later fellow delegate to conquer or be conquered by her.

My take is that Rolene will definitely be a force to reckon with. She has the looks and personality that would sit well with either Julia Morley or Donald Trump.
The only possible flies in the ointment is if she loses in Miss World, then grabbing the Miss Universe crown will be more of an uphill battle. We all know that Mr. Trump may not be too pleased to have a former Miss World participant get his #1 spot, unless he scheduled his roadshow ahead of time. Aside from that, she will be facing two Filipinas who are hungrier for the victory.
How far will she prevail? Rolene can only hope that she nails one of the two assignments. ;-)
