The best thing about most of the activities of Miss International 2014 happening in Tokyo is the fact that the daily schedules of the contestants are not as punishing compared to another competition where out-of-town visits happen in quick succession. Of course, it’s always good to see more of the country, especially if one is a first-timer like Miss Philippines Bianca Guidotti. But then again, Tokyo is such a unique and bustling cosmopolitan city that can never be fully covered and appreciated in just a short visit. So everytime there’s a chance to just explore the streets and districts of the capital, there is simply no reason to stay at the hotel and/or play safe with moving around the immediate vicinity.

While Tokyo is not a tourist’s idea of an all-around walking city, the very effective subway system makes it a joy to check out areas like Roppongi situated in one end and then move to Shibuya in another part and then go to Asakausa in a jiffy.
Bianca, in one of her FB updates, summed it all up in one statement.
“Now I really feel like Im in Tokyo.” :-D
