Her name is Maybel Perilla. And she is Miss Bachelorette 2015 Philippines/Italy.
Last November 29 at the Teatro Italia in Rome, Italy, Maybel Perilla was crowned Miss Bachelorette 2015 Philippines/Italy – a beauty competition participated in by several Italian ladies with Filipino descent. Looking at this young lady, though, you can easily tell that she is a full-blooded Pinay who just happens to be born and raised in the Eternal City.
Maybel is 20 years old, stands 5’7″ and is currently in her sophomore year studying at the College of Financial Marketing of Università La Sapienza in Rome. She traces her roots in Vigan, Ilocos Sur where her parents are from.
Initially, the plan for Maybel is to become the representative of the Filipino Community in Italy for Miss Republic of the Philippines 2016. But apart from this, there is also the possibility of getting appointed to represent the Philippines in an international pageant around middle of next year. Details of the latter cannot be made public just yet. Whichever of the two options will come to fruition, you will definitely know. :-)
